Walgreens Adds COVID-19 Bot To Telehealth Service

Walgreens is expanding its Walgreens Find Care platform, including the addition of a COVID-19 risk assessment powered by Microsoft Healthcare Bot.

The assessment enables users to check their risks based on CDC guidelines and learn about COVID-19 clinical trials.

“Connecting patients to telehealth services from trusted local providers is more important than ever before as people turn to digital solutions to help minimize exposure to COVID-19,” stated Richard Ashworth, Walgreens president.

The platform now connects to 30 health care providers reports MediaPost.

Usage of the Walgreens mobile app is up 22% compared to the same time last year and 12% year-to-date, according to the company.
