Founded by Romare Bearden, Norman Lewis, and Ernest Crichlow, Cinque Gallery had their inaugural exhibition in 1969.
Join them for an interesting talk and a rare look at part of the private collection of Gene Alexander Peters GOTHAM TO GO one day only special Talk and rare artifacts display and talk on Thursday, December 14th, 2017 at 6 pm.

A newly expanded art exhibition by Community Works to salute pioneers in dance in Harlem will open formally at MIST Harlem, 46 West 116th St., between Lenox and 5th Avenues, with a special public reception for community leaders, artists and interested residents.
“It is imperative that we continue to destroy and dissect these myths out here…that we do not continue to perpetuate this myth that there’s a disconnection,” explained Ademola Olugebefola, Visual Artist, cofounder WEUSI Artists Gallery and Academy, Dwyer Cultural Center & NYNCA, the “The Art of Justice: Articulating an Ethos and Aesthetic of the Movement.
The Countee Cullen Branch, The New York Public Library located on 104 West 136 St hosted the works of NCA members and guest artist presenters to explore and display the themes of “Memories & Reflections”.
