The Reassembly Of The Historic Mount Morris Fire Watchtower Has Begun In Harlem

The first shipment of columns arrived today and was brought up to the Acropolis for the Mount Morris Fire Watchtower Spandrels were set in place, holes cored and will be permanently affixed tomorrow. Rain is expected on Friday and the ironworkers will be off for two weeks for the holidays. The columns will not be erected until January but real progress has been made.

The full restoration of the structure is expected to be completed next April 2019.
