Morris “Moe” Berg, was born in Harlem on March 2, 1902 – May 29, 1972. Director Aviva Kempner says in her documentary, ‘The Spy Behind Home Plate,’ that “the Bergs were cultural Jews who lived the American Dream in Harlem.”
