On Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, photojournalist Seitu Oronde was in Harlem, to see a man’s 14-year dream of owning his own business and establishing a presence was realized.
Michael Walker, a seasoned authority in Medicaid and Medicare insurance, had long nurtured the vision of bringing essential healthcare knowledge to Harlem’s residents.
Mr. Walker’s office serves as a hub for informative seminars on health prevention and healthier dietary choices, designed to enrich lives and promote longevity.
With the doors wide open, Mr. Walker found himself encircled by the warmth and support of family, friends, and the community that had steadfastly championed his dream.
Now, Harlem boasts the presence of a local expert in Medicaid and Medicare, offering invaluable guidance to seniors aged 65 and above.
This newfound resource empowers them with a comprehensive understanding of the array of health benefits and options available to them, all at no cost.
