roots in central parkJust when you thought the outdoor concert season was coming to an end, City Parks Foundation and Capital One Bank are happy to announce a free exclusive concert for Capital One Bank customers featuring The Roots on Thursday, October 8, at SummerStage in Central Park.

As part of Capital One Bank’s presenting sponsorship of SummerStage, the bank is thrilled to close the season by hosting The Roots exclusively for their customers.

To get your complimentary tickets go to the Capital One 360 Café on 3rd Avenue at 58th Street on Thursday, September 17, from 4pm – 7pm, and show your Capital One Bank card to get two tickets while supplies last. During the ticket giveaway enjoy danceable, soulful hits from DJ Herbert Holler as he spins across all genres of music.
The Roots have become one of the best known and most respected hip-hop acts in the business, winning four Grammys and were named one of the greatest live bands around by Rolling Stone. On October 8, fans will also enjoy performances from special guests including Marsha Ambrosius, Bilal and DJ Talib Kweli.
