Harlem’s Nichol King, affectionately known as “Harlem’s Banker” has been an influencer, community stakeholder and staunch advocate for financial literacy in the community of Harlem for over two decades. A native New Yorker, Nichol developed an early kinship with Harlem, as the neighborhood served as the backdrop for her first paying summer youth job at the age of 15. Today she is Small Business Relationship Manager, Nichol’s exposure to varying retail banking roles has uniquely positioned her and honed the skills necessary to effectively and consistently deliver to the ever-changing needs of the growing Harlem community. Nichol’s has participated as a panelist for Women Trailblazing in Business (Chase); and both the Women In the Black Conference and Economic Development Day for Harlem Week. Congressional Representative Charles Rangel recognized her for her efforts with a proclamation naming January 15, 2016, as “Nichol King Day”. Nichol spends her time away from work enjoying time with her family, traveling and cooking.
