Tammeca Rochester is the owner and founder of Harlem Cycle. She received her MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. After 13 years working as an engineer and then a marketing executive for a fortune 500 company, Tammeca turned her passion for fitness and community into Harlem Cycle. She was drawn to indoor cycling, which took her back to her childhood memories of riding her bike on the streets of Atlanta—but she was disappointed in the options present within the Harlem community. Her entrepreneurial spirit and her passion for community inspired her to establish Harlem Cycle, dedicated to the passion, the soul, and the hustle that defines Harlem.
