Finding Happy is created by Kendra Jo, Yasmine Coleman, and Angela Wells. The half-hour comedy follows the black female experience through the unfulfilled life of an ATLien, which stars comedian and actor B. Simone as Yaz Carter, a single woman working in the Atlanta radio industry.

Yaz feels stagnant in her life, and on her 36th birthday, she makes a decision to create change in her life and find her own happiness. That results in significant shake-ups in her family relationships, career, and dating life.

In addition to Simone, Kim Coles (“Living Single”), Angela Gibbs (“Hacks,” “The Fosters”), Marketta Patrice (“Black Jesus”), Stevie Baggs (“Ruthless,” “The Game”), and Mike Merrill (“All American,” “A La Carte”).

Kendra Jo serves as the showrunner/writer and co-creator along with Yasmine Coleman and Angela Wells.

Eric C. Rhone, Cedric the Entertainer, Yasmine Coleman, Angela Wells, Kendra Jo, and Reesha L. Archibald are the show’s executive producers.

FINDING HAPPY airs Saturdays at 8/7c on Bounce.
