Women’s Jazz Festival: The Beat In Between In Harlem


wjf+3.7.16+crop2As part of our annual Women’s History Month celebrations this March, the Schomburg Center is excited for the return of our Women’s Jazz Festival concert series! 

“The Beat in Between” concert showcases the relationship between dance, rhythm and music from across the globe, and features performances by Camille A. Brown, Christelle Durandy,Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Meklit Hadero and Millicent Jhonnie.



The 2016 Schomburg Center’s Women’s Jazz Festival is curated by singer/ composer/producer/activist Toshi Reagon.
