Borough President Gale Brewer and communities from Harlem to Houston is looking for passionate and engaged New Yorkers who are dedicated to making a difference in their neighborhoods.
Community Boards play an important role in shaping the character of our city. If you live or work in one of Manhattan’s 12 community districts, you’re eligible to apply for the 2020-2022 class of CB members. Apply online or complete a paper application. The online application must be completed in one sitting, so she suggests you read over the application first and prepare your answers offline. All applications are due by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
After you apply, her office will contact you about next steps in the screening and interview process. They’ll announce appointments this spring.
