Waiting List Opens For Mitchel-Lama Building In Harlem

A waiting list for studio and one-bedroom apartments at a Harlem Mitchel-Lama building is now accepting applications, according to the city’s Mitchel-Lama Connect website.

The Bethune Towers complex — a high-rise building on West 143rd street and Lenox avenue — will accept applications to its waiting list until April 2, 2019, according to the city Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

Rents for studios at the Bethune Towers complex range from $741 to $1,167 per month and rents for one-bedroom apartments range from $991 to $1,215 per month. Individuals must earn at least $29,640 to qualify for studio units and at least $39,640 to qualify for one-bedroom units.
