His work is in major museum collections, including the Whitney Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, etc. Works from this series were in the Studio Museum of Harlem’s 2001 “Freestyle” exhibit. The youngest artist to exhibit.

Rashid Johnson, was born in 1977, he is a contemporary American photographer-artist.  Johnson is a graduate of the Photography Dept. at Columbia College in Chicago. Taught at Colombia and at the School of the Chicago Art Institute. His work is in major museum collections, including the Whitney Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, and the Art Institute of Detroit.
