Two Teenagers Shot On Harlem Block

Patch reports that two teenage boys were hospitalized Tuesday night after being shot on a Harlem block, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.

A 17-year-old boy was hit in the abdomen and a 16-year-old boy was grazed in the arm shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday, an NYPD spokesman told source. The shooting occurred on West 129th Street between Fifth Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, police said.

Both teens were taken to an area hospital and are expected to survive their wounds, an NYPD spokesman told source. The gunshot victims were “highly uncooperative” with a police investigation into the shooting, the spokesman told source.

A suspect has not been identified and the shooting is still under investigation, an NYPD spokesman told source.
