Travel Tips For Fashionistas

June 26, 2020

Although there are limitations on travel in place all over the globe right now, you might still be holding out hope that you can enjoy your summer vacation. Perhaps you’re even thinking about making plans once the lockdown and travel restrictions have been lifted? Either way, if you’re an individual who cares a great deal about the latest fashion trends and always takes pride in their sense of style, here are some useful traveling tips for fashionistas everywhere.

Luggage

It might not seem that important to many people, but if you care about style and brands having top-quality luggage is essential. Not only do these suitcases look good, but they have been made with the best materials, and as a result, they should last longer than cheaper purchases. Carry-on bags are equally important, as they will hold your books, magazines, phone, laptop, wallet, travel washbag, etc. There is a wide selection of travel bags for women and men to choose from, both with high-end, known brands as well as new independent ones. Shop around to find one that matches your style and make sure it’s good quality that will last.

Clothes

It can be hard for those who follow fashion to pack lightly. It’s always good to have choices when it comes to your clothes, especially on vacation when you want to relax and look your best while you enjoy your time away. However, taking excessive clothes with you on your trip isn’t always wise, and could potentially result in you have to pay extra costs because your suitcase is too heavy. Consider the climate of your destination and what your plans are when you’re there. For example, if you know you’ll be dining out at restaurants for three evenings during your stay, pack three to four outfits that are suitable for the occasion. Don’t pack your entire selection of evening wear.

Accessories

Accessories are great at making the same outfit look different. If you are worried about having to limit your choice of clothes, make up for it by including an assortment of accessories instead. This will help you to mix and match your items of clothing but add a new twist to your look each day. However, remember that jewelry can be heavy and so you should consider packing delicate pieces and lighter accessories to avoid those additional costs!

Shoes

Yet another heavy item to take with you. It’s best to pack three pairs of shoes when going on vacation. Flat sandals or thongs are ideal for lounging around a pool or a visit to the beach. For city trips where you’re likely to be walking around during the day pack shoes that you know you will be comfortable in for an extended period. The third pair should be suitable for dining out and enjoying the nightlife your vacation spot has to offer.

Makeup

Style isn’t all about clothes and accessories, you’re makeup will help you to complete the look. Although you can pack more in your suitcase, there are limits to how much liquid you can take on a plane with you, etc. For traveling, keep your make up simple, so you only have to take the basics on board with you.

Start planning your post-lockdown vacations and follow these tips to make sure you’re traveling in style.
