Of course, you are, the real question is who’s not in the mood for some good wine… besides non-alcoholic drinkers, for those who want to prepare for a romantic evening with a loved one, time for relaxation, or socializing in general here are the top places in Harlem to buy wine. 

BTL Harlem Wine and Spirits 

According to a review on Yelp, this place is known as a “gold mine for their wide selection wine and spirits and their wide range prices”. They also have great service and host tastings and other events.

Harlem Wine Gallery 

Own by a married couple, Pascal and Daneen Lewis. This Wine Gallery reportedly has the largest selection of black winemakers and wine brands in all of New York City. They realized they had to travel outside of Harlem often to buy wine, so they decided to open a storefront for the neighborhood.

Sottocasa Pizzeria 

This one is not a Wine store, but still a place to get some fine wine. Owned by Italian immigrants, Elena and Matteo, This pizza place is known for serving good Italian food including their Neapolitan pizza. Check out the menu on their website.

Pompette

A nice little French wine shop in Harlem. It was established in 2015 with a wide selection and knowledgeable staff. Pompette means “tipsy” in French, so don’t get too tipsy.

The Winery 

This store was opened in 2007 specializing in artisanal wine. They have two more stores located in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan.

Hamilton Wine House 

Another wine shop that offers free delivery service and events, including wine tasting. This wine house is located at 2174 Frederick Douglass BLVD, Harlem, NY.
