This movie is based on the best-selling novel of the same name and features David Alan Grier, Wood Harris, Harlem resident Anika Noni Rose, Pauletta Washington, and other notables. The Watson’s take a road trip to Alabama during the summer of 1963, unaware that events there will transform American history.
The November 25th screening of this PG-rated film at the Apollo Theater is free and open to the public. Seating will be on a first enter, first seated basis. Neither tickets, nor RSVPs are required for the general public to attend this screening.
The Watsons Go to Birmingham, Monday, November 25, 2013 at the Apollo Theater, 253 W. 125th St. between, A.C. Powell & F. Douglass Blvds.. Doors open at 6:30PM. Program begins at 7:35PM
