The Nelson Mandela Tribute In Harlem


riverside shurchOn February 13th, the Nelson Mandela Foundation in association with
  CultureHorde  will hold a tribute concert in honor of the late, great Nelson Mandela –   celebrating his life and legacy, and the 20th anniversary of democratic freedom in
South Africa. This very special evening will be held at St. Paul The Apostle at 7:00.

Hosted by Morgan Freeman and South African broadcaster Gareth Cliff, this
incredible evening will take the audience through the life and times of Mr. Nelson
Mandela. Morgan Freeman will perform dramatic readings from the original
transcripts of  Mr. Mandela’s letters, speeches, and personal writings. These
readings will be accompanied by the world-famous Soweto Gospel Choir, who will
fill the cathedral with songs that honor Mandela’s life and vision. Finally, President
Bill Clinton will give a special tribute speech to Nelson Mandela and the work of the
Nelson Mandela Foundation, celebrating Mr. Mandela’s life and accomplishments.
