The Abyssinian Baptist Church’s Book Ministry Reads Grant Harper Reid’s Harlem Bible

The Abyssinian Baptist Church’s Sister to Sister Book Ministry will have a Holiday Gathering Brunch to discuss their December book selection. Grant Harper Reid’s Award-winning book Harlem Bible will be the topic of discussion. Grant’s memoir about growing up in Harlem and Teaneck, N.J. has been compared to James Baldwin’s The Fire Next Time.

The gathering will take place on Saturday, December 8th, 2018, at 11 AM at Londel’s Restaurant with a full brunch menu and the author will be in attendance.
