Taraji P. Henson Surprises Target Guests In Celebration Of The Exclusive Launch Of TpH By TARAJI At Target

With a Target store in East Harlem, it was great to hear that Empire star Taraji P. Henson and Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst celebrated the exclusive, new launch of her haircare brand, TpH by TARAJI, at Target.

“Early on in my career I was doing my own hair for the red carpet—I needed to have an interest in product formulas since I was always changing my looks. I’ve done them all. I learned quickly what formulas were my favorites, and the failures!” she said on the Target site.

 

The event with Taraji and Cheslie was a surprise appearance at the Herald Square Target store in New York City to give one lucky guest a hair consultation with TpH by TARAJI product.

The TpH by TARAJI assortment includes new-to-market products that can only be found at Target. With 18 uniquely crafted items ranging from hair milk to scalp scrubs, the new line is an accessibly priced, beautifully designed collection that works, making it a natural fit for Target.

On the Target site, their interview with Taraji was asked What is your #1 hair tip or trick?

“A clean scalp leads to healthy hair and always wrap your hair with a silk/satin scarf or bonnet.”

She was also asked on the Target site So, who are the products designed for? Is there a demographic you had in mind when creating the brand?

I created the products for everyone. The line is not hair type-specific. Who doesn’t want healthy hair or a healthy scalp? The products are universal and can be used on everything from natural hair to the chemically treated hair, men, children—there’s something within this line for everyone.
