Super Sábado is back! Join us for a day-long celebration of culture and identity, as we close our exhibitions Juan Francisco Elso: Por América and DOMESTICANX.
Inspired by the shows, the family day will feature a storytelling performance with musicians and educators Mayteana Morales and Jenny Luna as they read Drum Dream Girl; a movement workshop of the different dances of the Orishas, African deities of the Yoruba/Lucumi with Cumbe: Center for African and Diaspora Dance; a music workshop with Clave y Cuba where you will move to the sounds of rumba; an engaging art-making workshop with museum educator Carlos Jesus Martinez Dominguez, where visitors will create their very own artist book; and more.
