As one of the most highly regarded Nuyorican artists of her time, and a part of El Museo’s Women Series, Rodríguez Calero forges her powerful and unique style to create vibrant and multilayered canvases that defy easy categorization. Acompáñanos en un encuentro especial con Rodríguez Calero (RoCA), cuya obra se exhibe en nuestras Galerías. Una de las artistas nuyorriqueñas más aclamadas de su tiempo y parte de la Serie de Mujeres Artistas de El Museo, Rodríguez Calero forja su estilo poderoso y único para crear obras vibrantes que desafían una fácil clasificación.

BOBBY SANABRIA & ASCENSIÓN

With a remarkable blend of energy and artistry, Latin jazz superstar percussionist, composer, and bandleader Bobby Sanabria and his nonet Ascensión explore Latin jazz with lively, rhythm-driven dance music. In collaboration with Carnegie Hall’s Neighborhood Concerts, a program of the Weill Music Institute. Con una increíble mezcla de energía y arte, el percusionista súper-estrella de Latin Jazz, compositor y líder de la banda, Bobby Sanabria y su grupo Ascensión exploran el jazz Latino con animada música de baile. En colaboración con Carnegie Hall’s Neighborhood Concerts, un programa del Weill Music Institute.
