With warm weather finally here, it’s time to register your kids (3rd to 8th grade) for the CityParks free summer education programs. Whether it’s exploring CityParks waterways and learning about the local marine ecosystem through Coastal Classroom, or community gardening and growing food at at the CityParks Learning Gardens, kids can learn about our natural ecosystems right in their parks.
6th to 8th grade girls can register to take part in CityParks Green Girls Summer Institute program for five weeks of fun-filled outdoor adventures across New York. Group program spaces are still available for Coastal Classroom at Hallet’s Cove in Queens and CityParks Learning Gardens program at Liberty Learning Garden in Queens.
