On Friday, February 17, 2023, photojournalist Seitu Oronde was with Harlem’s Abraham Snyder Celebration of Life at the Mount Olive In Harlem.
The event was attended by his wife Lucinda Snyder, Sheila Robinson, his daughter, his son David Sunder, Jasmine Robinson, granddaughter, Rev. Charles A. Curtis, Congress person Charles Rangel, Herbert Daughtry, from the House of the Lord Church, Brooklyn and Harlem’s Senator Cordelle Cleare and many more.
Charlie Rangel spoke honoring the celebration of life to Abraham who was one of the founders of the African-American Day parade back in 1968 and left the legacy behind because he believed in and loved his people.
