On Friday, March 24, 2023, photojournalist Seitu Oronde was at the Chuck Jackson Celebration Of Life at the Schomburg in Harlem, New York.

The celebration of Charles Benjamin “Chuck” Jackson was not just a leader, but he was a leader, legend, and trailblazer from Harlem to Harare. The stars that came out to celebrate his life, his music, and what he meant to them that came out at the event in Harlem are proof of the lives he touched with his music.

He passed away on February 16, 2023.
