Scripps Networks Announces Partnership With NuTime Media To Connect Marketing Partners From Harlem To Hollywood

Scripps Networks, part of The E.W. Scripps Company, today announced an agreement with NuTime Media.

An MBE-certified Black-owned media ad sales representation company with offices in New York and Chicago, that will help connect marketing partners with the expansive Black audience that consistently watches the Scripps portfolio of networks, led by Bounce and ION.

ION and Bounce lead in delivering Black viewers for Scripps Networks, along with Court TV, ION Mystery, and Grit, delivering more key African American demos than nearly all ad-supported cable entertainment networks. Combined, the eight Nielsen Media measured Scripps networks reach 18 million African American viewers 2+.

Bounce’ is enjoying ratings growth, and the network beats BET in different dayparts. Helping to drive the viewership gains has been an expanded line-up of blockbuster theatrical moves and original series, including the critically acclaimed and hit show “Johnson,” focusing on four life-long best friends who share the same last name.

Bounce launches another new original series, “Finding Happy,” following life’s ups and downs from the Black female perspective, on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 8 p.m. Both “Johnson” and “Finding Happy” come from Eric C. Rhone’s & Cedric The Entertainer production company A Bird & A Bear Entertainment.  

Bounce

Bounce (@bouncetv) features a programming mix of original series and movies, theatrical motion pictures, off-network series, specials, and events designed for African American audiences.

Bounce is available to 98% of U.S. television homes free and over the air with a digital antenna, on cable, on DISH channel 359, DIRECTV channel 82, over the top on Roku, Pluto TV, and Apple TV; on mobile devices via the Bounce app; and on the web via BounceTV.com.
