Salters Scene: Once On This Island Cast At Cove Lounge In Harlem

January 23, 2018

On Wednesday, January 10th, 2018, cast members of  Once On This Island were at Harlem’s Cove Lounge in Harlem, NY.

Tamyra Gray, Norm Lewis, Loren Lott, Quentin Earl Darrington and Hailey Kilgore were celebrating the coming series of fun and interactive promotional activities scheduled in February 2018 at Cove Lounge.

Walker International Communications Group’s Cherine Anderson, Richard E. Pelzer II and Toni Isreal greeted arriving guests. Harold Breton and team prepared a delicious meal for the special occasion. Coconut pigeon peas, squash, scallion rice, brown chicken stew and mixed salad were some of the items on the menu. Food with a Caribbean flavor at Cove and a play with the Caribbean as its backdrop, is a perfect combination. The cast members had a good time eating, dancing and interacting with invited guests.

Once On This Island is based on the 1985 book My Love, My Love by Rosa Guy. The original production took place in 1991. It is a fun show, that will make you want to cry, dance and sing. Once On This Island is a hot ticket in town. Those who see the show, should hold on to their ticket and keep an eye on the promotional activities that will kickoff in February at www.covelounge.com.
