The Hearts of Gold 15thAnnual Gala-Arabian Nights, took place at the Metropolitan Pavilion on a beautiful Thursday night in November. The festive evening, complete with belly dancing, a silent auction and fashion show was hosted by Law & Order SVU – Actor, Producer and Director Tamara Tunie.
Hearts of Gold founder Deborah Koenigsberger, was joined by a room full of supporters including Susan L. Taylor, Designer b. Michael, Rhonda Ross, Gregory Generet, Global Grind’s Russell Simmons, ATNM’S Claire Unabia and Law & Order’s Christopher Meloni to name a few.
The honorees for the evening were Hearts of Gold Angel Nicholas Schorsch, Hearts of Gold Humanitarian Valerie DiFebo and Mom of the Year Gaitree Kisson.
As the tears rolled down Gaitree’s face, she shared her appreciation for all of the help she received from Deborah and Hearts of Gold. Gaitree and her daughter were able to get the help they needed to get back on their feet and on a path of independence.
