On August 6th, 2022, the Rucker Pro Legends Anniversary Re-Union and Hall of Fame Induction ceremony was held at the Alhambra Ballroom in Harlem.
Those of a certain age who were fortunate enough to witness the pre Michael Jordan athleticism displayed by these men are still awed to be in their presence.
Jackie Rowe Adams, founder of Harlem Mothers S.A.V.E. opened the ceremony with “Lift Every Voice and Sing”.
Bob McCullough, President of ‘Each one Teach One”, emceed the ceremony, which inducted Joe Crawford and the also legendary Joe Hammond, who was so talented that the Lakers drafted him and he never even played on a High School team as he dropped out in the ninth grade!
NY State Senator/30th District Cordell Cleare took part in the ceremony.
