Rudy’s World: Doordash And The NY Urban League Deliver Good To Harlem Residents

By Rudy Collins

On Tuesday, April 20th, 2021, at 125th Street at Frederick Douglas Blvd., in Harlem, Doordash and The New York Urban League joined forces to give out PPE’s to Harlemites running their errands during the COVID virus.

Shalima McCants, New York Urban League Chief Program Officer and Arva Rice, President, and CEO of NY Urban League were on hand to distribute the PPE’s and water to the thankful residents.

Across the five boroughs, DoorDash has been hosting events with community partners in order to distribute masks, hand sanitizer, and other resources to Dashers and community members.

DoorDash has been constantly looking for ways to support Dashers and using mobile units has allowed them to meet face-to-face in a safe way.
