Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson is an American actor, playwright, and director who has won national awards for his work in all three categories. He joins BUILD to talk about season 2 of “The Quad” with Santiago-Hudson returning to his much-acclaimed role of Cecil Diamond (the university’s high-profile Band Director). The series follows students and admins at Georgia A&M – a fictitious HBCU struggling to keep its doors open – and its freshman class who faces the stress of pledging, hazing, academic probation, hate crime attacks and prescription drug abuse.
