August 4, 2021

Reel Sisters + BRIC‘s Summer Screenwriting Lab gives you a chance to develop risk-taking narratives, revise your screenplay and create scripts with strong female characters in a nurturing environment with professional writers.

Revise the first 10-pages of your script for TV, Film & Digital Media Outlets like Netflix, BET, HBO, and Disney.

Writers will work in small groups and one-on-one with veteran author/producer Lorisa Bates, Vice President of Content Strategy, Co-Productions & Multiplatform at BET Networks.

She manages multiple teams that collaborate and communicate with key departments, including Digital, Creative Services, Corporate Communications, Content Management and Original Programming.

Writers registering for the Writers Lab will have full ACCESS to Reel Sisters Screenwriting Symposium for FREE, which will be held from August 10-12, 2021 and feature an opening night talk from veteran Netflix Showrunner Sheryl J. Anderson (Sweet Magnolias).
