Live From Harlem: Resuming In-Person Community Board 11 Meetings

June 21, 2023

Dear East Harlem,

I wanted to personally communicate that we will be returning to in-person meetings going forward.

Unfortunately, we only received confirmation yesterday that the Mayor is no longer extending the Emergency Orders, which permitted us to meet virtually. Although this notice came later than we hoped, we are thankful for our relationships with the Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit and Special Advisors.

Due to the late notice and extenuating circumstances beyond our control, Executive Committee will meet tomorrow to vote on all Action Items passed in committee to ensure that licenses, permits, Family Days and other positions can move forward seamlessly. We apologize for any inconvenience for the shift in schedule; however, the Executive Committee will be hybrid, so you may log in just like previously to participate. Everyone is welcome!

Please register here:

Until then, we thank you for your patience and cooperation as we serve the needs of the community. We look forward to seeing everyone during summer and in person when we reconvene in September.

If there are any concerns or questions, you may call the office at 212-831-8929 or email me directly at chair@cb11m.org

Yours in service to East Harlem,

Xavier A. Santiago

Chair CB11
