Act I – Requiem Today


In Act I, titled “Requiem Today,” Aru Dell’Arte Dance Company challenges societal norms and prejudices through a series of encrypted ballet chapters. This expressive and courageous piece reflects on the resilience of humanity while promoting hope and unity. Notably, the act incorporates a gender-neutral approach to partnering, inviting audiences to decode the seven chapters independently. Dedicated to the choreographer’s homeland of Ukraine, “Requiem Today” promises a poignant exploration of identity and resilience.

Act II – P.O.L.A.R.I.S

Venture into the unknown with Act II, “P.O.L.A.R.I.S,” a visionary fusion of ballet with immersive technology and special effects. This act explores the concept of extraterrestrial intelligence and artificial intelligence (AI) becoming sentient. Through captivating visuals and an otherworldly atmosphere, the performance challenges viewers to contemplate the ethical implications of encountering intelligent life beyond our own.
