New Mount Zion Baptist Church, 171 West 140th Street, in Harlem, NY hosted its annual Get to Know Your Church Day on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

The family-friendly event featured music, food, face painting, and more.

There was an opportunity to speak with Rev. Carl L. Washington Jr. and VIP StarNetwork CEO Johonniuss Chemweno, whose team provided COVID vaccinations.

They explained how local neighborhood gatherings are a key method to help communities of color get vaccinated.

VIP StarNetwork provided crucial medical services—including COVID support—to film shoots, sporting events, and more.
