Monthly rent for the pair of one-bedrooms is $1,015, with income requirements between $34,800 and $40,080/year for one person, or $34,800 and $45,840 for two. Preference for “50 percent of the units”—so, one of them—will go to existing residents of Manhattan Community Board 10.
Next: 2211 Third Avenue, where there are a whopping 22 studios, one-, and two-bedrooms up for grabs in a Hot Karl-designed building. Those units—earmarked for applicants making less than 60 percent of the area median income—start at $913 an for a studio, and go up to $1,183 for a two-bedroom. The digs are open to Harlemites earning between $33,189 and $57,240 per year, depending on household size and which type of apartment you’re hoping for. The building comes with some pretty notable amenities, too, including a doorman, elevator, fitness center, roof access, a bike room, on-site parking, and in-unit laundry.

Applications for units at 40 West 126th Street are due August 3rd, 2017, so if you’re interested, get on it. You’ve got a little more time for the lottery at 2211 Third Ave, though: applications for those units (with washer/dryers!) are due September 12th, 2017.
