On Saturday, September 29, 2018, students, families and Reverend Dr. Johnnie Green from Mount Neboh Baptist Church —in partnership with Airbnb came out for a Harlem back-to-school bash.
The event was held celebrate the community and promote academic excellence among local kids at Mount Neboh Baptist Church in Harlem, NY.
During the event distributed 1,200 people were fed, over 500 backpacks were filled with school supplies, there was live music, fun family-friendly interactive games, community face painting, yummy hot food, local vendors, a barber, and cardiologist were on site, and scholarship applications for Harlem youth.
