Motorcyclist Loses Control Before Fatal Harlem Crash


A man died Friday after crashing his Motorcycle into parked vehicles on a Harlem block, police told Patch.

Anthony Williams, a 52-year-old Bronx resident, was driving his 2017 KTM RS motorcycle east on West 142nd Street, near Lenox Avenue, when he lost control of the bike, police said. He then crashed into a parked Jeep Grand Cherokee and struck a Ford Taurus, police said. The collision force the motorcyclist to be ejected from his bike, police said.

EMS responded to the scene of the crash around 3:15 p.m. and found Williams suffering from severe head trauma, police said. The motorcyclist was transported to Harlem Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
