Morningside Park, N. Y. City 1905 (Looking North)

October 12, 2015

Manhattan-Avenue in harlemMorningside Park design to Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux at 110th Street, looking north up Manhattan Avenue in Morningside heights in West Harlem, New York, 1905.

The beautiful image looks like it was taken from an apartment unit roof (same height of the seventh story building on the right hand side) at 108th Street and Manhattan Avenue. A number of horse carriages drives up and down, along the train tracks on Manhattan Avenue.
