Morningside Park, A Photo Essay

The photographs were taken on the afternoon of Saturday, July 11th, 2015. The Park is the 1873 re-worked plans of landscape architects Frederick Law Olmsted partnered with Calvert Vaux.

In 1895 NY Parks Superintendent Samuel Parsons, Jr. wrote,

“…perhaps Morningside Park was the most consummate piece of art that he had ever create”.
