We reported earlier that a 79-year-old resident of East Harlem was found safe nearly 10 days after he was first reported missing.
Manuel Cando, 79, was reported missing on January 13th, 2017, and last seen Thursday, January 19th, 2017, leaving his Harlem residence on West 140th Street near Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police told Patch. Cando was reported found and safe on Sunday, January 22, 2017.
Police did not have information about Cando’s whereabouts during the nine days he was missing.
