MBP Brewer And Others Honor Legendary Korean American Restaurateur Betty Park In Harlem

Today, Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 4 PM EST, Korean American restaurateur Betty Park will be honored at Manna’s Restaurant.

Manna’s Restaurant is located at 486 Malcolm X Boulevard (and 134th Street), Manhattan Borough President Gale A. Brewer and Robert Rice, Bethel Gospel Assembly Evangelist and NYPD Clergy Liaison.

The will be joined by clergy and other elected officials will honor Korean American restaurateur Betty Park who has owned and operated businesses in Harlem since 1984.

She will be honored for her significant contributions to the community, including hiring locally and contributing significantly to local organizations and churches.

Organizers hope to draw attention to the crisis of anti-Asian violence in New York City, and to encourage unity and healing.
