riverside19n-1-webA 65-year-old man was shot outside a Harlem building Friday in what residents said was a spat over a woman, police said. The shooter was laying in wait outside the building on W. 138th St. near Broadway.

When the victim came outside, the gunman shot two rounds from a semiautomatic gun, hitting the victim in the leg and back just before 2:30 p.m., cops said.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital in stable condition, officials said.

Cops chased and quickly caught the shooter, a man in his 40s, less than a block away in Riverside Park.

Neighbors, who declined to give their names, said the two men had been feuding over a woman reports the NY Daily News.
