Malcolm X Legacy Collection 2018 Is Coming To Harlem

The halls of Harlem Fashion Week will echo the history of Harlem with the premiere of the Malcolm X Legacy Collection created by the six daughters of Malcolm X for the F/W 2018 season of New York Fashion Week. The Malcolm X Legacy Runway Collection for HFW will be designed by the international award winning designer Yvonne Jewnell.

The iconic image, quotes, symbols and speeches of Malcolm X have been inspiring fashion for decades but in 2018 we are honored to receive the authentic representation of Malcolm’s message through the art of fashion created by his daughters.

“The Malcolm X Legacy Collection will give the next generation of young people an opportunity to understand the principles our father believed essential to realizing one’s true potential.” –The Daughters of Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz
