Lucy Ortiz’s Hope for Heroes Fundraiser At The Tian Restaurant in Harlem

April 27, 2012

We’ve been supporting the work of Harlemite Lucy Ortiz since last year when she ran the ING Marathon. Now, we’re assisting her this year with Aiding Hands NYC. Aiding Hands NYC is a volunteer organization that assists groups in need.

This year she is supporting Hope for Heroes, an organization that provides outdoor experiences to disabled Heroes who were severely injured while serving our amazing country. She say’s “Our Heroes need us now more than ever as they return home and need to be reassured of their existence back into everyday society. Hope for Heroes allows its participants a place to heal while reintroducing the Heroes back to the outdoors.”

She’s doing her job, now it’s our turn to be the heroes and give back to those who make it possible for you and me to sleep at night. The best part is that it really doesn’t’ take much to make the difference.

Join them for great views, wonderful company, hip music at The Tian Restaurant at Riverbank State Park in Harlem.

$20.00 donation at the door will benefit Hope for Heroes.

Win a Raffle: Four NY Mets tickets along with a scoreboard welcome for you and your guest at the game of your choice.
