On Friday, October 30th, NBA great and Harlem resident Kareem Abdul-Jabbar sat down with Deborah Morales for a conversation about his new book Mycroft Holmes at MIST Harlem in Harlem, New York. Kareem discusses some of the characters in the book and their history, which a lot of is factual. Kareem also talks about using Sherlock Holmes strategies on opponents during his basketball career, Coach John Wooden, his Trinidadian background, and how he became interested in writing.
