Join The Northern Manhattan Action plan Meeting

West_Harlem_Climate_Resil_MeetingThis WE ACT event is the final report back on the Northern Manhattan Climate Action plan, one of our major accomplishments of 2015.  We will hear about the main recommendations of the plan in the areas of Energy Democracy, Emergency Preparedness, Social Hubs, and Public Participation. After that, a guest panel of resilience experts will share their experiences of implementing programs in these key areas within their communities.
One of our goals is to increase community participation in how the NMCA plan is implemented and all WE ACT members are invited to join the working groups which will help make this plan a reality for the residents of our communities. The plan is only as good as the people who make it happen!
Saturday, November 14th, 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
