The historic Baylander, a former active military ship, is docked at the West Harlem Piers Park and open for free tours. The 130-foot vessel is a former US Navy IX-514 Helicopter Landing Trainer that served many branches of the military dating back to the 1960s. The Baylander is open for free tours Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00pm – 4:00pm throughout the fall season – no advance notice required.
