mercedes and john m1This Saturday and Sunday, September 3rd and 4th, 2016, if you are in France (like ex-Harlemite Alfie Wade, and 10% of the Harlem World Magazine readers), you may want to attend the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Motoring event, sponsored by the Richard Mille watch brand.

The 3rd edition of Chantilly Arts & Elegance brings together the most beautiful cars in the world—both classic and contemporary—for a concours d’elegance that is international in scope, while celebrating French art de vivre.

John Malkovich and Wayde van Niekerk, two new partners of the Richard Mille watch brand, will be in attendance.

Often described as the most French of American actors, John Malkovich is also a producer, director and screenwriter, who has played a role in more than 70 films spanning a broad variety of genres. The Francophile will soon enjoy discovering the 800 rare and exceptional automobiles on display in the majestic setting of the Le Nôtre-designed gardens at the Château de Chantilly.

Gold medallist in Brazil for the 400 m sprint in August where he set a new world record for this distance, South African national Wayde van Niekerk will also grace the event with his presence. The rising star of track & field and new athlete partner of Richard Mille will surely admire these extraordinary racing machines—embodiments of speed in their own right—that have made history in the world of motorsports.
