New Heritage’s Board of Directors, Voza Rivers has joined forces with their theater and film division in a project with Daniel Beaty, their Senior Artist in Residence and Jamal Joseph, their Executive Artistic Director, to co-write their first feature film Chapter & Verse, also directed by Jamal Joseph.
This collaboration is Daniel Beaty’s feature film debut as an actor and is said to be “every bit as amazing on film as we know him to be on stage.” Khadim Diop, a member of our youth division IMPACT Repertory Theatre also stars, who is also making his film debut in Chapter & Verse.
